GEORGE NEWS - If you can sing or have a special talent in the gospel genre of performing arts, you should audition for George Has Got Talent's Gospel and Band edition.

Harmony Spiritual and Emotional Healing Centre is launching this exciting new spin on their existing talent show, George Has Got Talent, for all talented residents in the Eden area.

Lee Venter, the project coordinator and marketing manager of Harmony, said the organisation has become involved over the past year in various local community uplifting projects and in the process they became acutely aware that a platform should be created where talented local musicians and artists can showcase their talents to the local public.

"People from all age groups are welcome to take part in this exciting competition and young people in particular are encouraged to make use of this opportunity," Venter said.

Auditions cost R50 per item and will take place at the George museum on 24 June between 09:30 and 14:30.
