GEORGE NEWS - Notice was received from George Municipality that the Electrotechnical Directorate offices in Brick Road closed today, Thursday 29 October due to to Covid-19 related measures.
The offices will open again tomorrow, Friday 30 October.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and remains committed to deliver services in the face of ongoing Covid-19 challenges.
Please report any electrotechnical matters including, power outages, broken street lights and faulty traffic lights today to 044 801 6300.
Estimated response times from recorded time of complaint at above numbers:
- Low voltage electricity - within 24 hours
- High voltage electricity faults - can be longer 24 hours depending on type of fault
- Street lights - three to four weeks
