GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEOS - This morning the George Herald donated 3 500 sandwiches to Life Community Services, a non-profit organisation, to be distributed among the needy.
These sandwiches were made during the George Herald’s Sandwich Jam held at the York Street Offices today.
This was part of the 67 minutes for Mandela Day initiative.
Another Mandela Day initiative that took place this morning was the George Herald’s Christmas in July party at Happy Feet Creche in Parkdene where presents were handed out to the little ones.
