Be man enough to walk a mile in her shoes

GEORGE NEWS - St Alban's Church in Pacaltsdorp is hosting an event with a twist on Saturday 19 November at 10:00. With 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence starting on 25 November, the church is doing its part to contribute to the continuing battle against the abuse of women and children.

They invite all the men in the area to trade their shoes for a pair of heels and 'walk a mile in her shoes'.

All participating men are asked to wear a pair of high heels and join the parade from the Pacaltsdorp Community Hall to St Alban's Church.

Your participation will help to raise awareness and educate men and boys in an attempt to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence against women.
