GEORGE NEWS - Dare your family, workmates and friends to put on their cozzies and get into the water for the Garden Route SPCA.
South African Masters Swimming (Sams) are celebrating the National Winter Fitness Challenge on Saturday 25 August at Virgin Active in Heatherlands, George.
All proceeds will go towards a mass sterilisation of animals in poorer communities by the GR SPCA. Any contributions of dry animal food, blankets, dog and cat toys and animal accessories will also be very gratefully received.
Swimmers must be able to swim for an hour. They get sponsors who pay a nominated amount per pool length the swimmers complete in that hour.
Enter, get sponsors and help the SPCA. Entry forms and sponsorship forms are available at the SPCA, the George Library and the Knysna Library.
