Jane’ Snyman, President of the club says that every year the Interact clubs must complete at least one community service project according to the rules.
“We are having such fun here spreading love and happiness, even if it is just for a few hours, we hope that Rotary will recognize this as a project. The Rotary Club of George gives us the most amazing backup, they are always here to encourage and help.”
Interact, a Rotary International sponsored service organization for teenagers, aims to foster leadership and responsible citizenship.
Furthermore it promotes international understanding and peace to provide young people with the opportunity to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to serve the community.
Snyman continued “together as a club we will tackle issues in our community that we most care about and this is one of them. We are developing leadership skills through having fun.”
