WESTERN CAPE NEWS - According to a media statement by premier Alan Winde, as of 13:00 on 14 January, the Western Cape has 37 647 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 247 806 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 201 370 recoveries.

- Total deaths - 8 789
- Total active cases (currently infected patients) - 37 647
- Tests conducted - 1 138 172
- Hospitalisations - 3 512 with 381 of these in ICU or high care
Garden Route District:
- Bitou - 2543 cases, 2245 recoveries
- George - 10975 cases, 9771 recoveries
- Hessequa - 1673 cases, 1220 recoveries
- Kannaland - 682 cases, 490 recoveries
- Knysna - 4537 cases, 4101 recoveries
- Mossel Bay - 6791 cases, 6029 recoveries
- Oudtshoorn - 3500 cases, 2879 recoveries
