GEORGE NEWS - Six people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a three-car accident in Nelson Mandela Boulevard earlier this morning.
According to information received by George Herald, a taxi carrying an unconfirmed number of passengers collided with a car and a bakkie at the crossing near Trentyre on the corner of Luven Street and Nelson Mandela Boulevard, at approximately 07:35 this morning.
A total of 14 people were involved. One person was taken to hospital by Eden911 paramedics. Five were taken to hospital with Metro Ems, six used their own transport and two refused hospitalisation. No serious injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the accident could not yet be confirmed and George Herald is awaiting feedback from the police.
