GEORGE NEWSFLASH - A man (49) was arrested earlier today after he was caught driving 195km/h in a 120km/h zone.
The speedster in his black Jaguar, with an Eastern Cape registration number, was whizzing down the N2 near Glentana in the direction of Cape Town when he was stopped and arrested.
According to Kenny Africa, provincial traffic chief, the suspect is currently in custody at the George police station facing charges of reckless and negligent driving, exceeding the speed limit and obstructing or defeating the ends of justice by not displaying his number plates.
The number plates were found inside the vehicle.
