GEORGE NEWS - The SPCA's education unit has launched an art competition in conjunction with Friends of the Museum, South Cape Association of Visual Arts (Scava) and the Bella Smith Art and Culture Foundation (BSACF).
The competition is aimed at all schools in the George area and it is hoped that every schoolchild will enter.

The 10 finalists in each category will have their artwork exhibited at the George Museum from 4 to 26 April, when a prize-giving will be held.

The competition ends on Tuesday 27 March. The theme "We love all animals" can be depicted in any medium and must be A3 in size.
The age categories are: 6 to 9 years, 10 to 13 years and 14 to 18 years.
Entries must be entrants' original artwork.
