GEORGE NEWS - A visitor from Sedgefield is desperately looking for her Acer desktop computer and her dad's Apple ipad that went missing or were stolen in George on Tuesday 27 September.
"I know there is little hope, but miracles do happen," said Mrs Jacobsen, who had been retracing her steps without any luck. One of her last stops was in Knysna Road, near the Checkers Shopping Centre.
"My 87-year old dad's ipad and my desktop - both dating from pre-2010 - were under my car seat, in a bag, under clothing. I forgot to lock the car at one of my stops," said Jacobsen.
"The thing is, my dad never takes photos, but with his last holiday he actually did, and now they are gone. The sentimental value is huge."
Jacobsen is hoping that someone might know of something, or saw something. "You never know," she said. "I still believe in good. Maybe someone has a change of heart and returns it."
