GEORGE NEWS - The following refuse removal schedule will be applicable to public holidays during the summer 2020/21 holiday season:
* Wednesday 16 December will be collected on Thursday 17 December.
* Friday 25 December will be collected on Thursday 24 December.
* Friday 1 January 2021 will be collected on Thursday 31 December 2020
Collections start at 07:00 and may extend into the night to accommodate the double schedule.
If any bags have not been collected by 20:00 on the collection date as above, please take your refuse in and, if urgent, report to 044 801 6300 on weekends and Christmas holiday week, and to 044 802 2900 when municipal offices are open.
