GEORGE NEWS - The George police station was disrupted for at least two hours after a bomb threat on Monday morning, 14 May.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Capt Malcolm Pojie, an Afrikaans speaking man phoned the station claiming that there was a bomb in the building.
"The building was immediately evacuated and our bomb squad and K9 unit were deployed. They were busy for more than two hours before the building was declared safe and everyone could carry on working," he said.
