GEORGE NEWS - Thanks to you, the community of George, we have reached our goal of collecting 10 000 items of clothing for the 10 000 Wishes Charity Project. In fact, we've collected a whole lot more than 10 000 items!

Now it’s time to distribute the clothes to the five local organisations: The Haven Night Shelter, Bethesda Child and Youth Care Centre, Solidariteit Helpende Hand, Options and LIFE Community Services.

Clothing will be distributed in the course of the next two weeks and photos of the distribution will be published in the 16 December edition of the George Herald.
