GEORGE NEWS - The Western Cape minister of education, Debbie Schäfer, visited Delville Park Primary School today (Friday 15 June) after she learnt of a project at the school.
Educators at the school took it upon themselves to beautify the school.
Schäfer said it really made her happy to see that some schools do not just sit back and wait to be helped, but take initiative and do it themselves.
She also promised to look into the possibility for the school to get their own hall.
This was one of two visits to schools in the George area, Schäfer also visited Touwsranten Primary School.
