GEORGE NEWS - In a terrible condition, hungry and covered in sores, Lily was surrendered to the Garden Route SPCA about three months ago. Her owner couldn't afford her anymore.
"She gobbled down every bit of food we gave her and she had absolutely no trust in humans," said the GRSPCA's adoption officer, Amber du Preez.
Lily is about a year old. She is a boerboel cross that has been at the SPCA for three months and she desperately wants a home.
"She has the most amazing personality and with the right love and care she will only get better," says Du Preez.
