GEORGE NEWS - The George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences unit (FCS) urges the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of suspects involved in a rape incident in Thembalethu on 24 September.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, the victim (28) was walking in Lukhanyo Street while on her way home at about 20:00.
Three men allegedly approached her and demanded cash, after which they forced her to the ground and one of them raped her.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Daloris Damons, at the George FCS unit on 044 803 4621 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
