GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Twenty-four learners from Hoekwil Primary School excelled in the recent Garden Route Eisteddfod obtaining outstanding marks, with two learners receiving Special Awards for their solo performances.
Sophia Morley participated in several performances and received a Special Award for her acro solo while Cayden Bean, the only male soloist in the event, received a Special Award for his ballet solo.
Sophia was also honoured with awards for obtaining the highest acro score in the junior division.
