The aim of the event is to create awareness of our heritage sites to the learners, community members and tourists who visit George.
The Heritage Hunt will also teach them self-orientation, teamwork and to appreciate their heritage and cultural diversity.
Stakeholders that are participating:
• NMMU -15 Students
• 2 Local High schools – Learners from Thembalethu High school and Olympia School (15 from each school)
• Historical Society -10 members
The event will take place at the museum from 10:00 until 13:00.
