On Wednesday 7 May 60 voting stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00 in the 25 George Municipal District municipal wards. It will be the fourth democratic election since 1994 giving voters the chance to make their crosses for the party they would wish to head the national and provincial governments.
The voting stations in the different wards are as follows:
- Ward 1: Blanco Community Hall and the Dutch reformed Church Blanco;
- Ward 2: Denneoord Primary School;
- Ward 3: Outeniqua Bowling Club;
- Ward 4: National Sea rescue Institute, Touwsranten Community Hall, Kleinkrantz Chrèche, Lutheran Church Rondevlei and Pine Lodge; Ward 5: Hibernia Primary School and Van Kervel School;
- Ward 6: St. Mary's Primary School, George Congregational Church and Docs Mission Church;
- Ward 7: Parkdene Senior Secondary School and Lawaaikamp Community Hall;
- Ward 8: St. Liborius Catholic Church and Parkdene Senior Secondary School;
- Ward 9: New Tyolora Primary School and Isiseko Educare Centre;
- Ward 10: Ilingelethu Crèche;
- Ward 11: Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church Thembalethu, Thembalethu Community Hall and Gateway Lodge;
- Ward 12: Power House;
- Ward 13: MM Mateza Primary School;
- Ward 14: Pacaltsdorp Community Hall, St. Vincent Palotti Catholic Church, VGK Church and Rosedale Temporary voting station;
- Ward 15: Thembalethu High School and Nompumelelo Crèche;
- Ward 16: New Dawn Park Primary School;
- Ward 17: Rosemoor Centre and Conville Community Hall;
- Ward 18: Moth Hall and Dutch Reformed Church;
- Ward 19: George Community Hall and George South Primary School;
- Ward 20: Heidedal Primary School and Youth for Christ Kids Stop;
- Ward 21: Temporary voting station at Church Farmhouse and Bongolwethu Crèche;
- Ward 22: Geelhoutboom Primary School, Dutch Reformed Church Hall De Villiers Herold and Waboomskraal Multipurpose Centre;
- Ward 23: Delville Park Primary School, Carpe Diem School and Duttons Cove Holiday Resort;
- Ward 24: Haarlem Community Hall, Noll Dutch Reformed Church Hall, Community Hall Matt Zondagh Landgoed, Hartbees River UCC Primary School and Ongelegen UCC Primary School;
- Ward 25: Lyonville Community Hall, Ezeljacht URC Primary School, Diepkloof pre-Primary School and Bassou Farms.
