GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route SPCA's "Furry Friday" ribbons will be worn by proud 'we love all animals' supporters during International Animal Week from Thursday to Wednesday, 4 to 10 October.
The small, colourful ribbon symbolises the wearer's commitment to better the lives of all animals. All George businesses are invited to take up this good-hearted challenge to have the most staff members wearing a ribbon.
At just R10 each the delightful, paw print ribbons signify concern for animals as a fore-runner to International Animal Week.
Ribbons are available at the GR SPCA office in Ossie Urban Street, Tamsui Industria or at the charity shops in the York Street Mall Arcade, 100 York Street.
