GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The fourth diabetes awareness campaign of general practitioner Dr Jacques van Staden has drawn more than 400 people since 08:00 this morning.
In a tent erected in Unity Park at the top of York Street, the public can have their blood glucose levels and blood pressure measured for free till 14:00 today, Friday 10 November.
In the previous campaigns, the tests have helped make numerous people aware that they are in fact diabetic and they could make lifestyle changes and/or go on appropriate medication.
