GEORGE NEWS - The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) based in George is urgently seeking public assistance to trace people of interest who may assist them with the successful investigation of various sexual offences that are currently under investigation.
Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of the following people are requested to contract the investigation officer, Warrant Officer Karel C Botha, of the George FCS Unit.
Pieter November (40) aka Boeboes, previously from De Beer Street, Borcherds, can assist with an investigation into an alleged sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl on 12 October 2020.
The incident allegedly happened at about 21:00 at a home in Garcia Street, Borcherds. Although November’s last known address was recorded as De Beer Street, it is believed that he could possibly be in the Pacaltsdorp area.
On 18 April 2021, at approximately 03:00, a 24-year-old victim was accosted in Streepkoppie Street, Conville, by two unknown men whose faces were covered with balaclavas. She was walking home towards Marais Camp after visiting friends in Borcherds at the time of the incident. They grabbed her and raped her near no 15, Streepkoppie Street.
On 18 April 2021, at 356 BB Zone 8 in Thembalethu, a woman awoke from a deep sleep and realised that someone was on top of her, having sex with her without consent. Upon confrontation, he ran away and disappeared.
The incident happened close to midnight. Attempts to trace the suspect were unsuccessful thus far. Ncosikona Madoeka, approximately 30 years old, can assist the investigation officer to finalise this case.
On 8 January 2021, at about 14:00, at 2775 Robyn Close in Golden Valley, a 12-year-old victim was watching TV when the suspect, known as President, indecently touched and kissed her. It is believed that the suspect might be in Pacaltsdorp.
Another case of alleged indecent assault happened between 20:00 and 22:00 on 2 May 2021 in a residence at CW185v in Concordia, Knysna. It is alleged that the suspect, named Silindokuhle (about 30 years old), touched the 12-year-old victim indecently on her private parts, took her hand and forced her to touch his too. It is suspected that the suspect had fled to the Eastern Cape.
