GEORGE NEWS - The police are looking for the owners of confiscated items after a man was recently arrested on suspicion of house breaking and theft.
According to George police communications officer, Capt Nolonwabo Tshengu, the 31-year-old Harry Kitsa from Blanco was arrested on 8 November at approximately 06:00.
Kitsa is charged with house breaking and theft after two cases were reported by residents from Rocky Mountain Village and Chinaka Farms in the Blanco area, during the last week of October.
Warrant Officer Willem Kuhn arrested Kitsa and confiscated the items that police believe could be linked to more house breakings.
He was detained at the George police station and made his first appearance in the George Magistrate’s Court on the 11 November. The case was remanded for a formal bail application on the 21 November.
