GEORGE NEWS - "The best way to change the society and the underlying issues is to channel the power of women in every walk of life," says Bonny Brink-Lawrence of Transformation in Action Skills Centre (TIASC).
TIASC is a registered NPO based in George since 2016, which focuses on human capacity building at all levels.
"It is an entity of change-makers that activates a global network of social entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, policy makers and activists," says Brink-Lawrence.
"As South Africans we're facing challenges that are setting us back in leaps and bounds. Equal space, equal voice, equal worth
They focus on holistic, well-monitored human capacity building methodologies that work, she says.
"During September and October we had the privilege of visiting Singapore both for business and building connections with the Singapore Women's Council for better insights on creativity and initiatives for human capital development programmes to enhance our community upliftment projects. As enablers, we are excited to share and transfer key change and transformational synergies crucial for our embattled society.
"These formal partnerships will embrace the art of change-making with authentic implementation processes that are geared to uplift our communities from a brand-new perspective."
