GEORGE NEWS - The Touw River Conservancy will host its next Conversations in Conservation event on Saturday 18 October at the Wilderness Hotel.
The programme, running from 09:30 to 14:30 in the Yellowwood Room, promises a morning of stimulating talks covering a wide range of environmental themes.
Guest speakers include Mark Brown (Conserving Coastal Urban Birds), Arne Witt (The Magic of Fynbos), Lauren Josias (Authors of the Anthropocene), and Vanessa Weyer with Megan Simons (Reviewing the Development Landscape).
Members of a conservancy pay R70 while non-members pay R100. Each entry ticket also qualifies for a raffle draw.
