GEORGE NEWS - Members of the George Crime Prevention Unit arrested a 33-year-old man on Saturday 25 January in connection with items linked to a burglary.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies, officers acted on information about the whereabouts of a vehicle suspected to be involved in the crime.
They found the vehicle at a house in Triangle Street, Parkdene. Stolen items were found inside the vehicle.
"Among the recovered items were two laptops, a PlayStation with two remotes, and various pieces of jewellery," says Spies.
Spies say further investigations led officers to two additional premises, where they uncovered and confiscated more stolen goods, including two tablets and additional jewellery.
The suspect was arrested on charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
The stolen laptops were found in the vehicle.
The items were hidden in a compartment in the back of the vehicle.
