GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Richard Alford will deliver a lecture to U3A entitled, 'Investing in South Africa during the age of Cyril Ramaphosa', on Wednesday, 30 May.
He will be discussing South Africa post the Nasrec conference and has promised to make his presentation both interesting and topical and as viewer friendly as possible.
Alford is the founding partner of Chalford Wealth Management in Cape Town and has been involved in the financial services industry since 1995. He began his tenure in this dynamic industry as an asset manager in a small company called Appleton which, subsequently got swallowed up by PSG.
In 2002 he felt ready to depart corporate life and bought a small brokerage which became known as Chalford Wealth Management. Richard's family is from a small village called Chalford in Gloucestershire, but he now has an extensive client base in the Southwest Cape and Southern Cape where he is a regular annual visitor.
The venue is Emmaüs in Memorium Street and the meeting starts with tea at 10:00.
