Grobler relocated earlier this year with his family from Mbombela (formerly Nelspruit) to George, where he founded Seal Security. The company has been in operation since April.
He started working in the security industry in the 90s as a security guard and over the years held several positions, including that of armed response manager, branch manager, district operations manager, district manager, general manager and director.
Grobler has extensive knowledge of security in sectors such as the corporate world, retail industrial estates, security complexes, farm protection and forestry.
He has been part of event management security for some of the biggest and most popular events in South Africa such as the Innibos festival and the Lowveld Show.
In the past months he was able to assess the security situation in the George area and has identified the security needs of the residents. "My experience is that people here are not sensitive enough regarding security," he says. "I am confident that Seal Security offers a well-managed, professional service that addresses the specific needs of residents to allow them to live their lives in safety."
Seal Security offers professional guarding services for corporate entities, security complexes, special events and safe escorting. They also do risk assessments, provide forest marshals, farm and rural protections, vehicle tracking and investigations.
