When your pet needs more intensive care
Some patients need more than an appointment. They need monitoring, treatment and dedicated nursing care. Recently, Henry the Poodle had a scary encounter with a puff adder and had multiple bites across his head and lips.
He required immediate emergency intervention and thanks to quick action, antivenom and round-the-clock 24-hour nursing care, Henry fought and made a full recovery.
Another case was when Harry the Golden Retriever came to us in a terrifying state when he simply couldn't stop seizing.
He was referred to us where he was placed under continuous anaesthesia for around 30 hours to give his brain a chance to rest, to control the seizures, stabilise him and buy him precious time that he needed to recover.
