GEORGE NEWS - Hollard Insurance Group opened their first branch at Thembalethu Square on Friday 8 December to bring their services closer to the people of this area.
The group, established in 1980, is one of the largest privately owned companies in South Africa.
Hollard Insurance Group includes Hollard Insurance Company and Hollard Life Assurance Company.
Hollard provides short-term and life insurance as well as investment products to a diverse customer base, including individual consumers, commercial entities and corporate clients.
Ebrahim Galant, Hollard regional manager, said the brand is well known internationally and therefore will bring trusted and affordable services to the people of Thembalethu.
"By opening this store we are bringing the business to the people so that local people in Thembalethu don't have to spend money going all the way to town to get such services.
"They can now get insurance in their neighbourhood," said Galant.
