GEORGE NEWS - The George Business Chamber (GBC) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year at the GBC Gala on Friday 21 October, and, in the spirit of making new memories, excellence in the business community from all spheres in George will be honoured.
Residents have just four more days to nominate finalists, so don't delay - nominate an inspiring business or business leader before 2 October.

Informal traders who are passionate about what they do, passionate about the community they serve, and passionate about growing his/her business.
• GBC Entrepeneur of the year
Businesses/Individuals who are creating new, sustainable opportunities and playing a positive part in the greater community of George.
• GBC Service Ambassador of the year
Businesses/Individuals renowned for providing and encouraging exceptional service. (Walk the talk)
• GBC Innovator of the year
Businesses/Individuals whose revolutionary new ideas/products are unique in their marketplace. (Game changers)
• GBC Business Leader of the year
The businessperson who has had a profound impact on the economy of George in the past year, showing not only great leadership abilities, but also exceptional growth and a positive contribution to the greater community of George.
