The festival promises to dish up loads of fun and excitement for the whole family. In addition to 15 local music artists who will be creating a lively vibe all day long, there will be a variety of stalls to browse as well as entertai-ning activities such as boere sport, a jumping castle, touch farm, pony rides and more.
Mum and Dad can relax under the trees, next to the dam or in the beer tent, while the kids get rid of all their cropped up energy. Rugby matches on the day will be shown in the beer tent.
Calandra Restaurant will be open for the day for take aways, pizzas and items from their à la carte menu.
A day pass to the festival costs R40 per adult and R20 per child and ticket holders will stand a chance to win exciting vouchers, hampers and other prizes in lucky draws.
Gates open at 08:00 and the festival ends at 18:00. The nursery will remain open for trade during the festival.
To end off the day on a high note a dance, 'Balke Toe', will be held from 19:00 till late in the nursery's lovely new hall. While a huge bonfire is burning outside, live music by local artists inside will ensure that everyone will be on their feet.
Calandra Restaurant will remain open throughout the evening and a cash bar will be available. Tickets for the dance cost R80 per couple or R50 per single person.
