GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - George Business Chamber and Tavcor hosted a successful business network meeting on Thursday 18 October at the modern and spacious Audi showroom in Knysna Road. 

The event was well attended and about 60 guests were treated to tasty refreshments, a sip or two of artisan gin and uplifting violin music while they could also admire the most recent Audi vehicles on display.

Gareth Webster of Audi welcomed the guests and shared a riveting presentation, sharing news on an exciting model line-up to expect in 2019.

The most interesting of these might well be the electric e-tron that has made waves since its international media debut in San Francisco in September.

George airport manager, Brenda Vorster of the Airports Company South Africa (Acsa), handed over several commendations and awards to chamber members before a lucky draw concluded the formalities.

The chamber will host its annual business awards evening on 26 October.
