Not only is this huge achievement a confirmation of quality service, but also this year, we won the award for the best tile and flooring company also, as part of the competition.
Our Inspiration
Giovanni Ravazotti, founder of the Italtile group, of which CTM is a vital part, inspires us to this day to work passionately. He came to South Africa over 50 years ago from Italy, astounded by what little choice the market offered South Africans to make their homes beautiful. He decided to be the driving force in making South African homes beautiful by importing stylish Italian tiles.
Italtile group – 54 years later!
Fast forward 54 years, the Italtile group - through his hard work, passion, and vision - is now the biggest in the business. Italtile consists of three retail brands namely CTM, Italtile and Top T. The group also has an integrated supply chain that supplies our group and our competitors.
Our Journey
Our CTM George journey started in 2009. We have been through much during these past 15 years - droughts, fires, economic challenges, and a pandemic.
Notwithstanding these tough times, our customers have supported us through thick and thin, and we are very, very thankful for that.
We always strive to provide them with the best service, best quality and best products at the most affordable prices as is expected from our brand!
In 2013, due to the growth of our brand in George, we were fortunate to relocate to our new BIGGER building situated opposite Kraaibosch Estate.
This was the best move we could ever make. It allowed us to stock a wider range and provide our customers with a beautiful shopping experience and ample parking. Thankfully, our existing customers stuck with us, new customers joined us and friendships have formed over the years.
Our Staff
Our company’s priority is customer service. Our staff members mainly contribute to the business it is today, each bringing their unique personalities, skills, and work ethic to the table. I am so grateful to my staff, who are so dedicated and make it their mission to make our business a success, bringing their A-game to work, day in and day out.
