GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has issued a notice of a planned water outage scheduled for Tuesday, 8 July, in the area of the Corner of Deur and Truter Street.
The interruption will take place from 10:00 to 14:00 to allow for the lowering of a water main as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.
Affected area:
Cnr Deur and Truter Street and surrounding areas.
Important notice:
Residents are reminded to treat all water installations as live during the outage period, as water supply can be restored at any time.
Low water pressure may be experienced during this time.
Temporary disruptions may affect municipal water services in nearby areas.
Road users and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution near the work zone.
Backup date (if needed due to unforeseen circumstances) Wednesday, 9 July from 10:00 to 14:00.
