The Garden Route Open Squash Tournament, held from 10 to 12 October in Mossel Bay, once again delivered an exciting weekend of high-quality squash action. Now in its second year, the event built on the success of its inaugural tournament in 2024, drawing a record 91 entries from across the country. Junior players competed in various age groups from U11 to U17, while the prestigious U23 National Championships were hosted alongside the event.Several Eden players delivered standout performances, including Griffin Gschwend, Hanja Gildenhuys, Emma Gildenhuys, Tiani Stander, Hanrie Duits, and Codey Abrahams, all of whom finished as prize winners in their respective divisions.
