ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - A great lineup of arts and entertainment events are lined up in the George area over December.
Open until 15 December: Down the Line: Generations of Artists at Ground Control, 117 York Street. Art exhibition by four artists in various art mediums, including photography and oil paintings.
15 and 16 December: Ferg 'n Son's It's in the Blood Tour, with two performances in the Southern Cape: At the Knysna Gin Bar on 15 December and at the Shabby Fufu in Plettenberg Bay on 16 December. The legendary Fergie Ferguson, the voice behind the smash 80s hit "Man on the Moon" with the iconic band Ballyhoo, and his son, Michael Ferguson, a multi-talented guitarist and vocalist. Blending pop, rock, country and timeless classics, this genre-crossing duo delivers an unforgettable live experience.
10-20 December: Alice in Wonderland: The Pantomime, at the George Arts Theatre. Presented by the George Society of Arts, this pantomime is a treat for the whole family. It is packed with comedy, audience participation, dazzling costumes and plenty of surprises. Wonderland is running out of time! The Great Clock is about to stop, the Wrong Queen is ready to seize power, and only Alice can save the day. Tickets are R120 to R150 on Webtickets.
