Tamaaibraai van George se Vryburgers
Die jaarlikse Tamaaibraai van George se Vryburgers het Saterdag 9 April sy naam gestand gedoen. Vleis is vir 516 mense by vyf tehuise, ACVV, Rosemoor, JJ Watson, Tuiniqua en Hoekwil, gebraai. Hildred Basset, die basuin (woordvoerder) van die organisasie in George, het gesê dis 'n omgeeprojek waar daar weer teruggegee word vir die gemeenskap.
