Busstaking frustreer pendelaars
Gereelde GO GEORGE-pendelaars is gefrustreerd oor die ongerief wat die nasionale busstaking veroorsaak en soek ook antwoorde oor multi-ritkaartjies wat vooruitbetaal is. Intussen het Thembalethu-taxi's ingegryp om passasiers van Blanco, Rosemoor en Pacaltsdorp te vervoer. Gerrit Willemse, plaaslike koördineerder van National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa), sê Numsa het op Maandag 16 April, twee dae voor die staking, tydens 'n vergadering met senior bestuur gesê dat 'n staking nie die oplossing is nie.
