The first 15 have already been eliminated and thus 25 young artists/groups remain in the line-up to become the George Top Artists of 2012. Listen to Eden FM to hear your favourite artists' songs and vote to keep them in the running.
As explained in last week's George Herald, five artists are to be eliminated each week, however, due to technical difficulties, the music has not been played on air as yet.
To give every artist a fair chance, the organisers will wait until the end of July to eliminate the first 10 artists. After that, five artists will be eliminated each week, leaving two weeks at the end of August, before the grand finale, for the top five to shine and make sure they receive the votes they need to win the competition.
George Municipality is responsible for the venues where the artists will be performing as well as the venue for the grand finale. "We apologise for any inconvenience in regards to the previous article. 4001 - Wilby Jeffery: JWil
I am 28-years-old. My reason for entering the competition is not so much about the competition or winning, as it is about the message that I believe the nations of the world need to hear.

I am a 27-year-old music artist. I live in Lawaaikamp and have done a lot throughout my career, but I am most proud of winning the EMI Backstage Superstar Competition on etv.
4004 - Clynton Potts
My name is Clynnton Potts. I am also known as Zodiac. My hobby is writing music. I'm a recording studio owner and I love music of all genres. I entered the competition to test myself, to see if I'm 'good enough'.
4005 - Jokerboyz
Our group was started in 2012 when we realised that we actually complement each other. We like joking around, therefore the name, JOKER BOYZ.
4007 - Global Warning: Rowan du Preez
I'm a 17-year-old living in Dellville Park. I'm still at school and love composing music and poetry. My stage name is Snowman.
4008 - Patrick Mathabata: Cota
My name is Patrick Mathabata. I am from Blanco, but Parkdene is my home too. My stage name is Cota. I have entered numerous competitions and the Hansa Pilsner song writing competition is the one I am proudest of.
4009 - Bloodline
We formed the group five years ago. We are seven friends in Grade 11. We used to rap in class together. We chose the name Bloodline because since we met and started rapping together, we have become like brothers.
4010 - Triple 3
We are a group consisting of four young artists. We are a triple threat, doing music, dancing and acting!
4011 - Geraldine Wolmarans
I am 36-years-old, a control room operator and a born-again Christian. I come from a family of church choir singers, and that is where my love of music started.
4012 - Lil Twizzle
I was eight-years-old when I started rapping and in Grade 10 I wrote and recorded my very first song. I am 20-years-old now.
4015 - God's Voice
Ons groep bestaan uit sewe lede. Ons is 'n aanbiddingspan van God's Voice Ministries en sing al 'n paar jaar saam. Dit is ons eerste probeerslag om 'n kompetisie te wen.
