GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Are you longing for beautiful classical music performed by some of the best musicians in the country? The wait is over!
The George Music Society is presenting its first concert of 2021 on Saturday 22 May at the Oakhurst Insurance Arts Theatre at 19:30.
David Bester, highly talented viola and violin player, Mariechen Meyer, virtuoso double bass player and Jan Hendrik Harley, violist, composer and arranger, will perform music by Mozart, Bach, Gliere and English folk music arranged for string trio with violin, viola and double bass.
They named the programme Autumn Reflections, inspired by the season's symbolic meaning of loss, change, promise of new growth and hope.
