Odin to benefit
For this year’s Visual Expressions exhibition, a special project for Scava members is being introduced where all participating artists are invited to create a painting on an unframed deep-stretched canvas (thick box profile of about 3,5cm), measuring 15 x 15cm.
These artworks will be displayed together as a collective whole in the foyer of the auditorium and will be sold for R500 each. Half of the proceeds will go to the artist, and the other half will be donated to Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (Odin).
Artists are encouraged to create multiple pieces but must submit at least one. Non-Scava members participating in the competition are also welcome to join this initiative.
These artworks will not form part of the competition and will not be judged.
