GEORGE NEWS - After a bustling year Carpe Musicam! orchestra ended 2017 on a high note with their Angels All Around performance at the Outeniqua Transport Museum on Saturday, after having surprised shoppers with a flash mob appearance at the Garden Route Mall at lunchtime.
Saturday's outstanding concert had all the elements for creating a lovely Christmas atmosphere.
Apart from having the most popular carols like Silent Night and Hark!
The Herald Angels Sing, the unique setting and the Carpe Musicam! Choir added to the ambience.
The tenors Hannes Wannenbrug, Tinus Badenhorst and Alwyn Janse van Rensburg brought a touch of solemnity with O Kom, O Kom Immanuel.
Their voices are delightful and they harmonise beautifully and we hope to hear much more from them in 2018.

Suffice it to say that George is privileged to enjoy the concerts by a group of dedicated musicians under the baton of Norman Carless and managerial leadership of Elsabé Brits.
