GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Bergplaas MTB and trail run challenge, organised by Chain Gang Events, takes place this Saturday 6 April at Libertas Farm in Hoekwil.

The challenge forms part of the Western Cape XCM league and the Eden XCM league and participants who want to be considered for these leagues, have to ensure that they abide to the distance allocation for the categories. 

Riders who are not part of the league, have to be older than the minimum age for the distance and enter in the open category. 

It is also a Cycling South Africa (CSA) sanctioned event and riders must therefore either have a current CSA membership or license – if not, you need to purchase a temporary day license to take part.

Bergplaas offers a 15 km, 30 km, 40 km or 70km cycle challenge or a 7 km or 10 km trail run. 

Entries close on Thursday evening, 4 April, at 18:00.
