GEORGE BOWLING NEWS - Team Supporters won the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Summer Business League at the George Bowling Club, which was concluded on Thursday 22 April.
The final evening was a tense event, with all three of the top teams in the running to win the League Cup.
The top game of the evening was between Supporters, who came up against their long-time rival, Daisy Solutions. The evening belonged to Supporters, winning seven of the 12 ends and with a final score of 14 - 10. This ensured an overall win for Supporters, with a cumulative total of 66 points after the six rounds.
Second place in the Cup event was secured by Russel Rich Foods, who on the evening beat York High 19-11. Daisy Solutions ended up third in the Cup event.
The Plate event was won by Tellcorp who on the evening beat Stadler and Swart Attorneys. Second place in the Plate event went to Raubenheimers Attorneys, with Mazars Blue securing third place.

The evening was celebrated with a steak braai and live music. George Bowling Club thanks Tim Kirby of Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty for his continued sponsorship of the Business League tournaments and support of the George Bowling Club.
