The team put in an excellent performance in both the Kata and Kumite divisions.
Gold medals went to Tanisha Mclellan, Shecody Smalberger, Jandre le Roux, Calley and Lauren Rothman, Wade Tiran, Hasaan Kock, Andre van Tonder and Jandre Joubert with Dylan Hemphill taking Gold in Kata and Kumite.
Silver medals went to Justin Lee, Tyler van Blerk and Corne Calitz with Alex Davids, Carina Duvenhage and Marcus Kleynhans all receiving bronze.
These athletes will be in action again at the South African Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate championships in Oudtshoorn on 28 June. A total of 140 athletes from the Southern Cape entered for this exciting event.
