Harvest of medals for Karate Zen

SPORT NEWS - Karate Zen Pacaltsdorp had their first karate championships in June in the Pacaltsdorp Civic Centre with a few clubs taking part, including Karate Zen George, Karate Zen Cape Town, Kunna Kai Karate Cape Town and Beaufort West.

Karate Zen George brought home a total of 42 medals: 13 gold, 14 silver and 15 bronze.

The tournament was a success and the instructor of Karate Zen George, sensei Mareon Ferndale, thanks everyone who helped ensure that it went smoothly.

The club looks forward to hosting an even bigger event on Youth Day next year.
