Teagan Bewee, Kai Rautenbach, Lohan Gerber, Johandre Hoon and Ryan Bales graded for their yellow belts while Neil, Zandre, Emicha, Jacques and Danie from Hartenbos Primary as well as Bernard, Arno, Rowan, Ian, Thea, Mckaya, Christel and Ayla from the George Dojo graded one step closer to their yellow belts.

All the judoka participated in a gashku prior to the grading where competition rules and techniques were practiced to ensure confidence when participating in tournaments.
Safety when falling is of utmost importance, therefore a lot of practice and fun activities to improve throwing and falling techniques are practiced during the gashku.
