Body Building championships held

BODY BUILDING NEWS - The International Body Building Federation (IBFF) held the Southern Cape Spring Classic on Saturday 18 June at Diaz Hotel in Mossel Bay.

Many athletes from across South Africa competed and the WP team that will compete at the Africa Body Building Competition scheduled for September this year, was also selected.

Oliver Hart, the owner of OCD, a gym supplement shop in George, was also among the competitors, having won the u.90kg line-up at his first competition, the ICandy Show in Cape Town last year, as well as the over 90kg line-up at his second competition, the PCA Show, on 11 June this year, which was held at the Garden Route Casino.

At the Spring Classic he earned a second place in the Muscle Model line-up, and went on to win the over 90kg line-up.

This win earned him a spot in the overall line-up, where all winners compete against each other for the main title. Oliver won the overall as well and secured himself a place on the WP team. Oliver is coached by Danny de Jager and Neil van der Walt.
